Is Nigeria ready to remove State Of Origin?

A year after promising to remove State of Origins, Nigerians are circulating the words of Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo on social media:

 "We will initiate policies to ensure that Nigerians are free to live and work in any part of the country by removing state of origin, tribe, ethnic and religious affiliations and replace those with state of residence. #VoteChange #ChangeIsHere"

While many have argued that this would be of great benefit, others are waiting for the new administration to follow suit on its promise. Do you think Nigeria is ready to do this?
