VIDEO: Nigerian woman adopts 72 orphans

Meet Hauwa Salihu, popularly known as Uwar Marayu. She is the founder and owner of Gidan Marayu, an orphanage in Nassarawa, Kaduna State, where 72 children presently call home. The children's age ranges from three days to twenty years. 


The producers of this documentary - PurEsteem and Al-Ilm Child Trust Foundation - are hoping to use this video to raise awareness and get sponsors for the upkeep of the orphanage. Donations will go towards feeding, medical treatment, educational needs, and business start-up to provide an alternative source of income for the orphanage.
