A Togolese scientist has invented the world's most affordable wireless communication system, transmitting voice, internet, and video connections. Several powerful countries have approached Victor Agbégnénou, but he has refused to sell the patent rights to them.



This innovation could revolutionize the world of the telephony. Known as PWCS (Polyvalent Wireless Communication Systems), this could potentially reduce the digital divide between the west and Africa.

    Isn't this just wonderful! When Africans focus on positive things, pur achievements are always outstanding. Why do we always outshine them at their own universities and institutions? Hah? Bravo @VictorAgbégnénou!! See the West try obtain exclusive patents to this technology, just to deny the developing world, or price it out of our reach..... ah!

    I am so pleased to hear this not just the actual invention (which is impressive) but that he will not sell the patent. I hope that he will receive the funding needed for this to take off.

    It is patriotic to refuse parting with this God's gift if it be true. Who will promote his talent to fruition and commercial his product eventually, our looters who call themselves excellent and honourable leaders, bank loan or donations from equally patriotic Africans to obtain the product at lesser price later? Congrats man. I wish him good luck. God bless him and all too,am in.

    It is a pity, he has no support from any African country to develop this,time is going,and patent fall in public domain 30 years after licence is obtained, Victor got his since 2004,what is he waiting for????
    Sell your patent and do your further research, don't rely on Africa for they will not support you,I am sorry this is our reality,we only trust white technology. .......
