PICTURES: Meet the first black woman to own an airline

Meet Sizakele Petunia Mzimela, also known as Siza. She is the owner of the first airline founded by a black woman. 

Mzimela who is South African, founded Fly Blue Crane last year September. The airline has provided domestic flights within South Africa since it began operating, but staring on May 13, 2016, Fly Blue Crane will launch international flights

 Mzimela has more than 20 years of experience in the aviation industry. She joined South African Airways in 1997 as the market analyst, taking up several roles in the company while working her way up to become the first black executive Vice President of South African Airways. She holds a BA in Economics and Statistics.
