The Senator representing Bayelsa East constituency in the Senate, Ben Murray-Bruce, has urged acting president Yemi Osinbajo to teach his boss, President Muhammadu Buhari, who is currently on a medical leave in London, his magic wand that has led to the steady rise in Naira.
The Naira has been gaining steadily against the U.S dollar in three days of trading at the parallel market.
The dollar sold for N510 on Tuesday, dropped to N505 Wednesday and fell to N460 at the parallel market on Friday, February 24th.
Reacting to this development, Mr. Bruce took to his Twitter page and wrote: "Whatever the acting President is doing to increase the value of the Naira is working. We appeal to him to teach his boss this magic he has!"
Also reacting, former Jonathan's aide, Reno Omokri tweeted: "If you dont think Leadership matters then how come the Naira started to steadily appreciate when @ProfOsinbajo assumed mantle of leadership?"Whatever the acting President is doing to increase the value of the Naira is working.
