PHOTOS, VIDEO: Biafra’s Nnamdi Kanu defies Governor Wike, shuts down Port Harcourt

A mammoth crowd of Biafrans came out in Oyigbo West, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Friday July 21, 2017, to welcome leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

Unconfirmed reports by some Biafrans claim more than 3 million people were there to give him a heroic welcome.

Prisca Abel, one of his supporters who shared pictures online wrote: “Live at ìgwèocha today, I was astonished when I behold the crowd that came out to see our Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu today, indeed Igweocha is Formidable.. sorry for not making any live coverage from my end today. I had a low battery you know, life in the zoo is something else. #lotOfLove #DontGetitTwisted..#letThemtalk”

Recall that last month Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, stressed that Nigeria must remain an indivisible and united nation, adding that the government and people of Rivers will not be part of the agitation to break up the country.
