PDP can never return to power because of the massive looting that took place in the last administration - Orji Uzor Kalu

Former Abia state governor and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Orji Uzor Kalu, says the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will never return to power because of ‘the massive looting that took place in the last administration’.

Speaking on Channels TV Politics Today, Mr. Kalu said PDP will never win election again in Nigeria unless they change their name.

He said: “All international agencies know that our treasury was looted. There’s a difference that government would do contract and take 5 or 10 percent. There was nothing like that. Our treasury was looted. People opened our central bank and maxed out the money in the central bank, so how can they return again? There’s no international power that liked what they did.

“The international community was very disappointed in what the former government did, and that is why they insisted on pushing the former government away.

“All I know is that Buhari remains one candidate that has over 10 million followership on his back, so if you do the election tomorrow they will follow him unasked for and he will make a good showing in all parts of the South East.”
